The Studio

From a Fitzroy sharehouse to 2.4 million players

We are a small independent studio operating out of La Trobe Street in the Melbourne CBD. Here is how CelestChampionClan grew from a weekend prototype into a live-service game with a global ladder.

  1. 2019

    The first prototype

    Three ex-arcade developers sketched a 5v5 lane battler over a long weekend in a Fitzroy sharehouse. The core "draft, raid, rank" loop was playable within six days.

  2. 2021

    Soft launch in Australia & NZ

    We released a closed beta on Google Play across Australia and New Zealand. 40,000 players joined the first ranked season and helped us rebuild the matchmaking system from scratch.

  3. 2023

    Global iOS release

    CelestChampionClan launched on the App Store in 140 regions with full cross-platform play. Our Melbourne servers were joined by edge nodes in Sydney, Singapore and Frankfurt.

  4. 2026

    Season of the Celest Crown

    Today we ship a fresh champion and a live clan-war event every six weeks, with a 12-person team working from the CBD studio and a support desk open six days a week.

The game runs on Android 9.0 and above and iOS 14 and above. It is optimised for 60fps on mid-range hardware from the last four years, and includes a battery-saver mode for older devices.

Absolutely. Cross-platform play is enabled for every mode, so your clan can mix Android and iOS players freely. Progress is tied to your account, not your device.

We use a hidden skill rating alongside your visible tier, matching you against players of similar ability. Each season lasts six weeks, after which ranks partially reset and reward crates are issued.

Yes. Champion Pass and Clan Command are billed monthly and can be cancelled from your store account at any point. You keep any cosmetics and rewards you have already unlocked.
